meets with President of FUNDARJ

Ms.
Oliveira meets with Ms. Ana Teresa
Matteoli President of Fundacao Pro-Instituto
de Hematologia- RJ (FUNDARJ) to
discuss how we can work together
(AmerinRio, FUNDARJ, HEMORIO) to
solve the problem of insufficient
blood reserves. In Rio de Janerio
there is tremendous need for more
collection facilities and/or moblile
collection facility to meet the
supply of blood. Currently there is
more need for blood than FUNDARJ can
supply to the hospitals and clinics
throughout Brazil.
Brazil needs a Mobile® Blood Bank
17 July, 2007--Rio de Janeiro
Ms Oliveira is currently in Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil putting together a
program for a mobile lab to collect
desperately needed blood for the
hospitals throughout Brazil. We need
funds to purchase the Mobile® Blood
Bank or a company to donate the bus
and equipment that we need to begin
our project. We would like to see a
whole fleet of busses throughout
Brazil collecting blood that is so
desperately needed here and
throughout the rest of the world.
Arrival of the torch in
Paraty for Pan American Games
9 July , 2007--Paraty, Brazil
Ms. Oliveira, Mr Steve Allen (The
artist that donates art for the
Olympics), Mr. George W.F.
Maia former President of The Sister
Cities in Rio de Janeiro, Ms. Elma
Maria da Silva de Aleluia President
of Ser Alzira Aleluia, and other
dignitaries were in Paraty for the
arrival of the Olympic Torch on
Monday the 9th of July. Mr. Allen
presented his gift during the
ceremonies this morning. Ms Oliveira
has had meetings with all of our
affiliates and is working to
complete the last bit of paper work
to open our offices in Rio. We hope
to have our offices open before she
leaves on the 2nd of August to
return to the U.S.
